Tristan Bruck
Specialist, Head of Sale
Tristan Bruck joined Christie’s in 2011, initially working as a specialist in the Indian and Southeast Asian Art department. In 2014, he transitioned to Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art, where he focused on sculpture and classical Chinese furniture, before returning to the Indian, Himalayan and Southeast Asian department in 2018. During his time at Christie’s, he has worked on several important sales of Asian art, including The Sublime and the Beautiful and Masterpieces of Buddhist Art, and iconic private collections such as Masterpieces of Early Tibetan Paintings from the Collection of Heidi and Helmut Neumann, The Collection of Robert Hatfield Ellsworth, and The Collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller. Prior to joining Christie’s, he worked with contemporary artists at The Pace Gallery in New York. Mr. Bruck holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Wesleyan University and furthered his studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. He holds a Master’s degree in Modern Art, Connoisseurship, and History of the Art Market from Christie’s Education in New York.
