Our annual Parisian sale of Old Master & 19th Century Drawings on offers a wide variety of works on paper covering over four hundred years of design and European creativity from around 16th to the 19th Century.  With more than 100 lots, the auction presents an opportunity to acquire some of the most celebrated drawings of French, Italian, Dutch and Flemish school, with estimates ranging from 1,000 € to 300,000 €. Two great Venetian artists are featured with two top lots: Giovanni Battista Tiepolo’s Portrait of a man on blue paper and a rare Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo from the series of Punchinello from the collection of the late Commandant Paul-Louis Weiller. Amongst the Netherlandish section are drawings by Abraham Bloemaert, the Apollon Belvedere signed by Peter Van Lint, a mythologic scene by Hans Rottenhammer and an impressive Project of family tree by Erasmus Quellinus. Masterworks by François Boucher, Jean-Marc Nattier, Jean-Baptiste Greuze, Charles Natoire, William Bouguereau, Léon-Auguste Lhermitte and Honoré Daumier are the highlights of the French section.
