Engraved armorial titles with letterpress labels, 225 engraved maps, views and plans, one of these folding, and the majority double-page. (Some maps with tear at the fold not reaching the image, occasional faint mostly marginal dampstain, some light creasing, short marginal wormtrack in a few text leaves, light marginal soiling.) Contemporary vellum panelled in gilt with central lozenge (sides bowing, one joint starting at the head, lacking cloth ties, some soiling, volume 2 without the rear free endpaper).
