This sale includes 16 rare works of Buddhist art from a private Asian collection, with proceeds from the sale in benefit of Asian mental health charities. Attractively estimated, this group comprises rare Buddhist votive figures and altar objects from the Ming and Qing dynasties made of various media, including gilt-bronze, porcelain, terracotta and shell. In addition, the sale offers fine Buddhist art pieces from various regions and periods, such as Tibetan bronze figures from the 15th century, stone and stucco heads from the Tang to Ming dynasties, as well as stone and bronze works from the Liao dynasty.
