Magnificent Jewels

The December Magnificent Jewels sale offers over 450 lots, highlighted by noteworthy gemstones, renowned private collections, and a wide selection of important signed jewels by makers including Suzanne Belperron, René Boivin, Bulgari, Cartier, Harry Winston, Tiffany & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpels.  Featured colored stones include ‘The duPont Ruby’ and ‘The duPont Emerald’ from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and a superb Belle Époque Kashmir sapphire ring of 30.14 carats from a distinguished New York Estate.  This sale presents an array of prominent private collections, including Property from the Rothschild Family Including the Late Baroness Edouard de Rothschild and the Late Jacqueline de Rothschild Piatigorsky and jewels from the Collection of Judith-Ann Corrente, among many others.  Rounding out the sale are contemporary jewels by leading houses such as JAR and Taffin. Please be advised Christie’s offices will be closed starting December 20, 2019 and will re-open on January 2, 2020. To receive your property before our offices close, please be aware of the following deadlines:

For international shipments, full and clear payment of both principal and shipping must be received by December 11, 2019. For domestic shipments, full and clear payment of both principal and shipping must be received by December 13, 2019.

If your shipment is unable to be booked by these dates, we will be happy to hold your property in storage and help make shipping arrangements in the new year.
